2011 Nissan Rogue Complete Review with Pictures

Sales for the Rogue models have been on an increasing trend as of late. Hence, Nissan is hoping to strike while the iron is hot with the release of the new 2011 Nissan Rogue into the market. With the emerging competition in the market, there are a lot more in store for this year’s edition as the manufacturer will try to keep up with the rest in the market.

The 2011 Nissan Rogue will stick with the basic formula innovated by the series – rounded everywhere. However, it will also feature a new grille, revised tail, and a uni body platform. The styling approach is very reminiscent of the Nissan Murano models for this five-passenger four-door that would support its crossover identity. However, the vehicle body is quite long, in fact it is the longest within its class. There are three choices of trim levels within the range: base S model, SL, and the sporty version of Krom.

On the interior, the front seat space for the 2011 Nissan Rogue can accommodate up to two people. However, the same cannot be said of the head room and rear-seat leg room, which are quite cramped up. The overall cargo volume measures up to 57.9 cubic feet, which is greater than most other compact vehicles in the market today.

There is a single engine choice available for the 2011 Nissan Rogue, which is a 2.5-liter four cylinder engine with a maximum of 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft torque. It will also continue the use of the CVT system or continuously variable transmission. When it comes to fuel economy, Rogue offers an average of 22 mpg on the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

Like most other new releases, pricing details is expected to release for the 2011 Nissan Rogue until shortly before the car goes on sale. However, critics already have their estimate at how pricing details will look like on this one. The estimated price range for all models within the range is expected to be somewhere between $21,040 and $25,940. Again, there is not much of a difference here with the 2010 models.

The base model that comes with a front-wheel drive is expected to start at $21,040 and upgrading it to an AWD system raises the price tag to $22,340. The Rogue SL model with front-wheel drive is priced at $22,730 with the AWD version at $23,930. The most expensive model in the range is the Krom model with an average pricing of $24,740 and $25,940 for the front-wheel drive and AWD systems, respectively.
